EXIMS' graduates hit the headlines with their reporting for The Indian Express
Express Institute of Media Studies (EXIMS) is an initiative of the Express Group of Publications begun under the guidance of the Editor-in-Chief, Shekhar Gupta. It is now into its fifth year, and the current batch has 36 students from all parts of India.
EXIMS is based in the Delhi office of The Indian Express/Financial Express. The tudy programme covers Print, Broadcast and Online Media and includes a one-month internship with The Indian Express/The Financial Express.
Its most salient feature is that the students at EXIMS are mentored entirely by the senior editors on the Express staff. Students who graduated from EXIMS have since found employment in a wide range of reputed Indian media, including The Times of India, The Economic Times, Hindustan Times, Business Standard, The Asian Age, CNN-IBN, CNBC, Governance Now, Mumbai Mirror, PTI, ANI and of course The Indian Express, The Financial Express.
